1. We respond within one business day
A member of the team replies to confirm we received your inquiry and set up the initial review conversation — by phone or in person, whichever fits.
2. The initial review
We talk through your operation: the activities you have tried, the records you keep, and the facts of any land acquisition. You do not need tax documents at this step — the conversation comes first.
3. A plain answer
Following the review, we tell you plainly what the available facts and records appear to support: whether a study appears worthwhile, what it would involve, and what it would strengthen it. If the evidence does not support proceeding, we say so.
4. A defined scope — before any work begins
If you decide to proceed, the scope, engagement terms and payment arrangements are agreed in writing first. Everyone knows who does what, and what comes next.
5. The study, and your tax preparer
